Located inside the Kruger to Canyons biosphere reserve.

Ndlovumzi lies 30 kilometres outside of Hoedspruit, Limpopo, 15 minutes from the R527 Tar road, deep in the African bush within the Olifant's River Conservancy.

Mountain View Safari Lodge has just two private camps, giving our guests a true sense of solitude and exclusivity. Both are totally solar-powered, have spectacular mountain views, and are surrounded by Lowveld bush with no fences.

Ndlouvmzi is recognized for its diverse plains game species, including Waterbuck, Kudu, Nyala, Impala, Zebra, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Bushbuck, Duiker, and others. Civet Cat, Genet, Honey Badger, Porcupine, Aardvark, and even the elusive Caracal are just a few of the nocturnal wildlife species available to experienced birders.

The Ndlovuzmi routes are ideal for mountain biking, jogging, and walking while taking in the scenery in a natural setting. With our own professional and experienced safari ranger we are able to offer our guests a range of activities including  private game drives in an open safari vehicle, guided nature walks, star gazing safari, educational bird experience, guided big 5 day tours and day tours across the Blyde River Canyon.

Accommodation at Mountain View Safari Lodge

Both of our tents were built to the best international standards, and we went to great lengths to ensure that they have everything our visitors require for a luxurious, calm, and enjoyable stay in the bush.

You can relax on the veranda while admiring the magnificent South African Lowveld, take a soak in your own private plunge pool, or go exploring in the bush.

Leadwood Tented Camp is a larger family tent with accommodation for four people, designed to accommodate a family of four or two couples travelling together, while Corkwood Tented Camp is a much smaller intimate camp designed particularly for two.

• OLIFANTS RIVER WALK: We also offer a Guided Olifants River walk, where guests can walk along the banks of the World famous Olifants River that forms the northern border of Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve

 

• BIG '5' WHOLE DAY SAFARI: Manyeleti is a 23,000-hectare private game reserve that borders directly to the vast Kruger National Park, as well as the famous Sabi Sands and Timbavati Game Reserves so you can be sure to only experience the best 'Big Five' game viewing possible

 

• PANORAMIC VIEW DAY TOUR: The Panoramic Route Day Tour is conducted by our professional Guide, in one of our mountain view 4wd vehicles. With a maximum of 4 guests
